2. Credit-Based Service

prompthance operates on a credit-based system where:

  • Each image analysis consumes 1 credit
  • Credits are purchased through subscription plans
  • Credits are digital goods that are consumed upon use
  • Free credits are provided to new users

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are ONLY available in the following specific circumstance:

Refunds will only be processed if payment has been successfully charged to your account but the purchased credits have NOT been added to your account due to a technical error on our system.

4. No Refunds Policy

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following circumstances:

  • Credits have been successfully added to your account
  • Credits have been used for image analysis
  • Dissatisfaction with generated prompts or AI results
  • Unused credits remaining in your account
  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Account suspension or termination due to policy violations
  • Technical issues with uploaded images
  • Service downtime or temporary unavailability
  • Subscription cancellation (unused credits will remain until expiry)

5. Refund Request Process

If you believe you are eligible for a refund under Section 3, please:

  1. Contact our support team within 48 hours of the payment
  2. Provide your account email and transaction details
  3. Explain the technical issue you experienced
  4. Allow up to 5-10 business days for investigation

6. Processing Timeline

If a refund is approved:

  • Processing time: 5-10 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Stripe processing fees are non-refundable
  • Bank processing times may vary

7. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or customer portal. Upon cancellation:

  • No refund will be provided for the current billing period
  • You will retain access to your credits until they expire
  • Recurring billing will stop for future periods
  • Your account will remain active with existing credits

8. Free Credits

Free credits provided to new users or through promotions:

  • Have no monetary value
  • Cannot be refunded
  • May expire according to terms
  • Are not transferable

9. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer:

  • Your account may be suspended pending resolution
  • We will provide transaction evidence to payment processors
  • Please contact us directly before initiating disputes

10. Service Credits

In cases of significant service disruption, we may, at our sole discretion, provide service credits as compensation. These credits:

  • Are not guaranteed
  • Are provided as a goodwill gesture
  • Cannot be exchanged for monetary refunds
  • Are subject to the same terms as purchased credits
